Hamilton Memorial Hospital Awaits COVID-19 Vaccine Allotment from IDPH

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) is currently awaiting COVID-19 vaccine allotments, including for those who are aged 65 and older, from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).

At this time, all COVID-19 vaccine allotments available for Hamilton County residents are exclusively coordinated directly through the local Hamilton County Health Department.

Unfortunately, there is no estimated date of when Hamilton Memorial Hospital District will directly receive a COVID-19 vaccine allotment for those residents in Phase 1b.

Phase 1b includes continued vaccines for frontline essential workers and those who are 65 plus in age with underlying comorbidities and conditions that put them at a higher risk for complications from COVID-19.

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District will provide updates via local media on COVID-19 vaccination opportunities at the facility when the vaccine is made available by IDPH.
